Having these containers gave me peace of mind that no bears or raccoons would get into my food, and other desirable items like toothpaste or deodorant. As far as sleeping on this cot inside my tent, I was happy to be up off the ground. If a person slept flat on their back this cot by itself would probably suffice. I sleep on my side, and in the future I would add a foam or inflatable pad just to make it a bit more comfortable. Overall, a great rental experience!
